VoiceForms provide an easy, quick and accessible way to get a form filled in – from any phone, anywhere. The only thing the person filling in the form needs is any phone – be that fixed line, mobile or satellite: there is no requirement for an Internet or data connection. The benefits of ipadio VoiceForms over traditional paper forms (or online forms) are greater reach (nationally and internationally), easier management of language variations, users do not need to be literate, simpler set up, rapid reporting and analysis, and no need for Internet / data connection / PC or browser technology.

Virgin Media own 200,000 cabinets across the UK that house the kit necessary to provide broadband services to their millions of subscribers. When a cabinet door gets damaged the company needs to close it quickly to protect vulnerable and expensive equipment and to maintain its service. When a member of the public sees the cabinet has been left open, they call the number displayed inside. They then press 1 to say what kind of cabinet it is, when prompted say where the cabinet is or gives the cabinet number, and are then asked if they’re happy to take a call back and asked to leave a number. ipadio receives the call and routes this data back to Virgin Media. By notifying the nearest engineer the problem can be rapidly fixed, and the caller receive a confirmation.Case Study: Duke of Edinburgh Awards
Each year 275,000 young people undertake inspiring DofE programmes. Each young person is assessed on their way to a Bronze, Silver or Gold Award. Using ipadio technology DofE Assessors can phone in their assessment reports instead of filling in an online or written form. ipadio presents data via an API to report upon, respond to, or integrate into escalation procedures.The data seen below comes from a project with a major Government department who want to find out more about disability benefit claimants , the results are a mix of audio (what the claimant says) and data such as number of disabilities etc), this works off a free phone number and because voice is like a fingerprint it offers greater security than a conventional form. It can also work in different languages.
