Data Gathering from organisations, clubs & societies
If knowledge is power then information is the foundation of both. Collecting and collating data from organisations operating remotely can be tough and can be time consuming, employees in the field waste huge amounts of time typing up and uploading their activities - why not just use a phone call?
Many organisations have agents in the field that spend time with clients or customers and collect data from them. The normal approach to collect this data is to do it via web based forms or e-mail, just look at the typical process a user would go through to achieve this:
- Find a computer
- Get online
- Log on to a secure web page
- Remember username and password
- Bring up a web based form
- Type into that form
- Upload that content to a database
- Log out
- Close application
We estimate that the minimum time a user would spend doing that task is at least 20 minutes. If you’re seeing say 5 clients a day is it really acceptable that so much of your agent’s time is spent uploading data?
Use ipadio to collect your data and it’s a 2 minute phone call. With some intelligent key strokes it is also possible to group that data as well – let’s say this was a sales contact and the engagement might have an outcome that is ‘please invoice’ ‘raise a PO’ ‘more information required’ or ‘no sale’ then the ipadio collection could be as follows:
Press 1 for Invoice
Press 2 for Raise PO
Press 3 for More information
Press 4 for No Sale
This might add 10 seconds to the call and make your sales team perhaps 20% more efficient?
ipadio are also offering data collection services to clubs and societies – where governing bodies might want to find out what’s happening in a club on a particular week. By the club secretary spending no more than 2 minutes a week detailing the next weeks activities we can help to bring that data to stakeholders in ways that traditional means simply cannot.
